Jetted Pocket

Press the two jet strips in half.

Sew along centre line of each jet, the two rows of stitching must be parallel & start and finish on the welt position dots.

The image below shows the wrong side, using very sharp small scissors cut along centrally between the two rows of stitching stopping 1.5cm short of each end. Cut diagonally towards the last stitch, as close as possible without cutting into it.

Pull the jet strips through the opening , the pressed jet edges should meet flush along the centre line, press the triangles under, stitch through the triangle & jets to anchor & form the ends of the jetted pocket opening.

Press over seam allowance on pocket bag facing & topstitch onto the bigger of the two lining pocket bags, make sure the top of the facing & bag align along the top.

To attach pocket bags pin onto the jet strips, make sure the faced bag is attached to the upper jet so that the fabric sits behind the pocket opening.

Repeat to attach the lining pocket bag to the lower jet.

Pin & stitch the two bags together.
